Birthdays mean celebration and cake!
Im 32 today and Im have so much to celebrate. 2 crazy cool children and a "super hero" husband. My day began with my 8month old son smiling at me in my bed. And my 10yr old daughter slowly opening my door to say "Happy Birthday Mom"!! Walked into the living room and sitting on our dinning room table were 2 cards and a nice big present.
My heart leaped for joy! Picked up the first card and read "Happy Birthday Lis open the cards but the present will have to wait". UGHHHHH was my first reaction... But really made the gift even better! After dropping off Mina (my 10yr old) at her school I was overwhelmed by emotion. Thinking about what a Awesome and fabulous year I have had so far. Thinking that just this time last year being completely fulfilled already with the life I had. And now even more.
When Greg came home I opened my gift AND. WAS . SO . HAPPY!! I would also like to add that the fact that my gift stayed on the kitchen table with not even being slightly ripped or dented or even sniffed (yes I would smell a gift) shocked me.
We later left to the restaurant of my choice and ate a fabulous meal. Came home and sang the song blew the candles and called it a day! I loved today and can't wait to see what this year will bring. And THIS is why I celebrate!!
